The Business development manager will be responsible for networking with potential clients, meeting prospective clients and meeting sales targets. As the business development manager, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining long-term business relationships and meeting sales targets on an ongoing basis as well as identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.You will work with senior sales managers, marketing staff and other managers to increase sales opportunities and maximise revenue for the organisation.


  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Meet with clients and negotiate new sales deals.
  • Meet sales targets.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
