As sales consultant in the beauty industries, you will be acting as a sales representative for a variety of beauty, makeup and aesthetic products. You will be working in the field and developing relationships with suppliers and clients. A beauty sales consultant should be able to knowledgeably advise customers on various beauty products and demonstrate different product applications for clients. As a beauty consultant, it’s important to be neat and well-presented at all times. The ideal candidate will be friendly, talkative and able to understand a customer’s needs and prescribe the appropriate beauty products.
Duties

  • Be able to travel and meet a variety of clients and represent a variety of beauty companies
  • Sell products and collect payments
  • Make appropriate recommendations for a wide range of clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Keep stock of products and order when necessary
  • Meet sales targets
  • Present new products to staff

Requirements

  • Understand issues and details of the skin, nails and hair
  • Wide knowledge of cosmetics and perfume
  • Experience working in beauty salons, spas, stores or cosmetic organisations
  • Basic administrative skills
  • Relevant diploma
